What have we been up to?!

The Graduate.

The day finally came!

I had been looking forward to this amazing day for quite some time!!

I am so proud of Jacob for sticking to school and not giving up. He was a busy man between School, being manager for ADT UT and his callings in the church. First Primary then YM President.

He was always so excited after class to tell me what he learned even though it normally put me to sleep- or made my eyes heavy. 

He stuck with it and that makes me proud!

This was taken from the top row but Jacobs dad went early and got 2nd row seats thankfully!

It was an amazing moment when his name was read. I think I had a tear well up in my eye but our Indian calls and excitement won over the emotional blubber mess that was trying to emerge.

Jacobs best Bud drive up to see him! Jacob was so shocked and excited.

Both sides of Parents came up for the big day!

Hurray! Now on to his Masters we go!

This time by family because I need my own support system... besides pizza!

Xelly Belly is 3

It seems like just 3 years ago my little girl was born...

She is so much fun! 

For the past 2 months every day (not kidding) she has talked about her birthday.

She had "happy birthday" sung to her about 5 times in the week leading up to her birthday

The day of her birthday she was so excited to wake up to see gifts- I caught her sneaking one off about 4 times to try and open it before I caught her. Little stinker!

For her birthday so got to pick her meals.

Dinner

Grandma and grandpa gurney came over to celebrate (Beach grandparents already had something planned :( ) with us. We ate pizza and sang the final Happy Birthday song to her fir this year. 

She was on a birthday high and stayed up till about 10:30

This little girl is a heart breaker. I love her so much it's amazing!

She is a sweet heart and loves to help Jacob & I with everything!! She is her brothers favorite and they play good  together!

Been potty trained for 6 months!!!

Talks better than me at times.

Getting better at brushing her teeth now that she has a tinker bell tooth brush

LOVES to swim and jump on the tramp

Man oh man I love this kid.

He is a ball of energy and always happy!

Some of his favorite things to do are:

Crawl

Lift himself up on everything

chase after you or be chased

squeal while eating puffs

Eat in general

play with whatever Xelly is playing with

Make silly noises with his mouth

Try to eat rocks

Take baths & splash

Some facts about this boy:

He is in size 4 diapers

drinks a about 3oz at a time before having to play again

sleeps pretty good-5 hours then eats then sleeps 5 hours then up

takes 2 naps for about 2 hours each

only likes veggies- squash, sweet potato, peas, green beans

not a fan of sweet foods but just stopped gagging while eating bananas

tries to free stand- gets about 5 seconds before falling over.

loves to rough house with Jacob-loves his dad so much

prefers to snuggle with mom

When I asked Xelly what she wanted to do for her Birthday Party she said she wanted to Paint!

It was busy getting the house unpacked and having a party 5 days later

but she loved it and still talks about it!
