Cast free!!

5 weeks after her fall she got her cast off!

So is still excited and talked about her wrist not being broken almost every day!

Nurse asking if it hurt she responded "no way"

The machine at this office was way cooler than the one at urgent care.

The machine just sat on her lap and click then the photo was on the screen.

He said the break just missed her growth plate thankfully!

It didn't cause any damage so she won't have any issues later!

One happy cast free girl!! 

Her first swing after she got her cast off on the swing she broke it on.

Now she makes sure to hold on with two hands so she doesn't fall!

If I could...

If I could slow down time I would.

But my kids are growing up way to fast!!

Quinton started trying to walking last week.

2nd child... I never thought to video it till today.

Friday is D-Day

 

 

Yesterday I had my Doctors Appointment.

I got checked and am at 3cm dilated and 60% effaced.

I was 3 Cm but when I hurt my leg it put me back to 1.5cm so this was good to hear I'm still progressing.
 

When Jacob heard the Doc say that I was actually dilating he was in shock because I was, as my last Doctor put it, "if I wanted to be generous I would say you are maybe a fingertip dilated...." thanks doc. and that was a week after my due date.

My Doc also stripped my membranes for the 2nd time in hopes that I can go into labor on my own
 

I cleaned all day yesterday and not a single cramp or anything other than swollen feet by the end of the day and well a still messy house due to a lazy weekend and getting over sickness. Pay back!

We scheduled my induction for Friday so I have to call that morning @ 6:30 to see if I am able to go in at some point that day.
 

Thursday didn't work out like we wanted because my Doc is in the OR that day but we will see-- once my mom gets here (we are beyond excited for her to get here!!!!!!) I will probably try out some other methods to get labor going in hopes to avoid pitocin. I have heard some fun storied about Castor Oil! :)

Its nice to know there is and end in sight! But now I am noticing that I need to pack my bag and maybe go grocery shopping for the first time in 2 weeks... (but I doubt that will happen)

Anyway...

Friday sounds like a good day.

Our little Gymnist

When I was little I took dance, gymnastic, and ballet classes.
Somehow none of those stuck because I have ZERO rhythm.
One day in dance class I was not happy to be there so when the teacher asked me to do something I decided to instead take off my clothing and stick my tongue out at her.
It ended in me getting taken out in the hall and getting spanked but I think I got my point across that dancing was not my thing.
Last month Jacob found a groupon that was for this amazing Gymnastics place in Sandy. Its for 1 hour class 2 times a week for one month.
Xelly is the youngest by about 6 months but she loves it!

I'm not sure who is more excited for her first class. Xelly or Jacob

 

The teacher is trying to get all the kids to do the bridge. This is about as far as Xelly gets on her own

They each got to do the drills on the tramp. I felt bad for the teacher having to try to contain 7 2-4 year olds

This is when they were learning to do pikes? or something.

Then they had to put their toes on the outside of their hands and hold it.

Xelly got to 47 seconds before the teacher saved her. I don't think she had any intention of letting go.

She was not a big fan of the balance beam. she would of rather jumped

off of it but she still tried and had fun.

Disney Halloween

I took off my nose in the truck before we decided to take pictures. Lame.

The witch who gave snow white the apple and the prince that kissed her to wake her up. 

Seems normal right? The mom wants the little one to go to bed and the dad wants to play!

It was a easy choice to have Xelly be Snow White. She already had the hair! Her outfit is rising up and she is covered in cookie but you cant get much cuter than that!
Isn't Prince Charming just a dream come true!? We made his costume the day of the party and I think he pulled it off perfect! He even has the hair and tights! 

Guess who is 17... years old.

She might be 17 months but sometimes she seems like she is 17 years old.

I mean she takes my keys our of my purse and opens the door to the garage. opens my car door climbs inside and starts scream laughing to get my attention.

 For our fun no church because everyone is sick sunday, we decided to do some painting!

I cut open some garbage bags and covered the table then Xelly went to town on her pumpkin body

Then it was clean up time and in the sink she went. She played for about an hour then stood up and said "da ta"

I think she is adorable. I cant believe she is this old. Is is our cute little copy cat.

A fun family date night!

Jacob & Xelly have both been sick and now I am getting sick as well... wahoo!

We ventured out and bought Xelly some winter clothing then hit up a pumpkin patch. 

I was shocked when I saw these "patches" because I have never seen anything like this before except in a movie. I was amazed. 

So we picked out pumpkins out and took a few pictures in the dark.

Then hit up some chic-fil-a and gorged ourselves with food. Yum!

My Crafty life!

What have I been up to today?!

I made this with 2 black boas hot glued around a wood wreath. 

Then I had some extra fabric so I tied a bow hot glued it how I liked then glued it to the wreath.

simple! took about 15 minutes.

My mother and father in law made this bench. I had been talking about wanting something so I could sit on the front porch while Xelly played. They used part of a crib then made the bench.

I picked out a color (that ended up being a little brighter than I thought) i liked and painted it.

This is such a fun craft!

I got a 2x4 and cut it into sections. a 18'. 10', 9', and 2 8' pieces. I used a fabric that's like cheese cloth but a little cheaper. gauze could work also. Then I painted them and hot glued them to the board then put a screw through the bottoms to help them be more stable.

This one is in Xelly's play room. I got some crayons, lined them up by color, hot glued them to a canvas. Then took a blow dryer and and melted them. Xells loves to point to all of the colors!

I painted the bench it was just wood. then I covered the top needle point because it didn't match anything I had. Also, I was not very fond of it. This was my first ever upholstery project and I think it ended pretty good. I hot glued it on then nailed it down after for extra support and I thought it seemed easier that way.

Now its under out piano!... that still needs to be tuned.

I had to document this, this is the FIRST time my brother has held Xelly!!
he is my new baby whisperer. Xelly was throwing a fit about 3 seconds before this.

Playing in the water all day. soaking up the sun. Fun family jokes and yummy snacks. No contact with the rest of the world. Not a care in the world. That's my kind of perfect right there!!
