BuhBuh is 10 months old

Our goober turned 10 month old.

How that happened i am still not sure.

On the eve of his 10 months I was laying in bed thinking I would just be having him again in the amount of time that has passed. It was a strange feeling.

He is getting skinny!

26lbs (lost 4 lbs)

Fits into some 12-18 month shirts but mostly 18-24month

24 month and up pants- dont even try something smaller because it wont get over his knees/thighs

I put him in his first pair of shoes and had to buy a size 4 shoe because its all that would fit.

He had a hard time and chose to crawl for a while before testing out walking with them.

He likes:

His sister more than anyone

Dad more than Mom

To tattle on dad to mom

Tries to say Cheese but says "dees"

Waves hi and bye- its my favorite

loves to touch everything he shouldn't

Gets ear infections pretty easy

has had 6 hair cuts I try to only cut it once a month.

 Boy hair has to be cut way more than Xellys

Has his 2 bottom teeth 

One front tooth just popped through with the 2nd either out or following soon I need to check.

sleeps from 7-7- seems like that took forever!

drinks bottles but prefers anything your eating.

wears size 4 diaper

loves to swim and take baths

Loves pillows and blankets- will carry them everywhere 

runs into lots of stuff yet doesn't cry- makes me cringe when i watch him

eats anything he sees even bugs

loves to wrestle and can hold his own in a pillow fight

has an attitude if you dint give him what he wants.

will follow you around gibber crying until you do what he wants

He has a smile and laugh that will melt your heart.

I love this boy and so does everyone else.

A year will be here before we know it and I'm not sure i am okay with that.

But it reminds me of all the fun memories watching Xelly when she was learning all the new things

Now she is enjoying teaching him all her tricks!

24 weeks

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain: 15 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Some. I got some shorts so ican now wear more than one pair!! I have a few shirts. I discovered that skirts are the best.
Stretch marks? none. Crossing fingers I don't get them again
Sleep: Go to sleep late can't wake up in the morning. Body pillow is making sleeping on my side a. Little better but I always end up on my back
Best moment this week: xelly saying little brother and pointing to my stomach.
Miss Anything? My old body
Movement: lots of major movements & rearranging. I like to. Watch my stomach bounce. Xelly doesn't like it when she wants to cuddle but gets kicked instead
Food cravings: bean burritos and grapes. Plus anything chocolate or sweet
Anything making you queasy or sick: meat
Gender: boy
Labor Signs: No. Minor contractions on random days
Symptoms: Pregnant
Belly Button in or out: half and half
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy- but am frustrated with xellys crying
Looking forward to: decorating his room more (making his curtains)then doctors app on Tuesday

Its a....

So we have been keeping a secret that has been rather hard but well worth it!

I am pregnant, Xelly will be a big sister and Jacob will now have 2 kiddos to play with!!

We found out at about 4 weeks that I was pregnant. I decided to take a test after I had a dream we had a baby girl and it was all I could think about so after I put Xelly to bed (Jacob was at school then basketball) I had the house all quiet and to myself I took my trusty dollar store test.
it said Positive! wahoo! I had no idea what to do.

After Jacob got home from basketball around 11 he was telling me about work, school, and basketball and then asked how my day was and I said I'm pregnant.
It was a happy moment followed by both of us in silence thinking..."what the heck!!!"

We got an ultrasound at 8 weeks

So we waited till were visiting family in Az and we told our families that we were 10ish weeks pregnant with #2!!

Then we waited and waited and dodged questions about when we were going to start trying for #2 and people wondering where we were hiding. In the bathroom DUH!

Got another ultrasound at 16 weeks because they could not find the heartbeat.

Now I'm 18 weeks along and we found out last week that we are having a little Boy!!

My parents were in town so my dad got to come to the gender appointment but my mom was in class so she didn't get to see but got a picture to guess from.

Jacob is thrilled 1.because he said boy all along and 2. well... its a boy! that means basketball!

So October 11th is my due date so ill have the baby on like October 18th ;) if he is like his sister!

This pregnancy is 100% different from my pregnancy with Xelly. With her I never had any sickness, braxton hicks, contractions, stretch marks, dilating or even labor pains (till they broke my water a week later)
With this baby I was lucky to get off the couch or bathroom floor till 16 weeks and even still I cant handle lots of talking, bring lights, looking at any form of uncooked meat so I'm planning on everything being very very different this time!

But we are very excited and looking forward to a boy!
